QUOTA International was founded in 1919 by a New York business woman Wanda Frey Joiner. In an era of female suppression, Wanda Frey Joiner realised that women had a tremendous contribution to make to their communities and invited like minded women to join the first QUOTA club. Today hundreds of QUOTA clubs exist in 14 countries throughout the world. Our Toowoomba club is part of that QUOTA family and is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian organisation dedicated to a common cause - service to those who need help. QUOTA International links its members of all ages, occupations and nationalities in a world-wide network of service and friendship.
