In QUOTA Toowoomba we make friends, have fun and help others.
Some of us are working, others are retired.
We focus locally then reach out across the state to our nation and then to the world.
We support disadvantaged women and children, hearing impaired adults and children and others who need a hand up in our community.
We support local community organisations through some fund raising, the time, effort, energies of members - and collection of household goods.
QUOTA Toowoomba is part of a world-wide, non-profit, non-artisan, non-sectarian organisation.
In our QUOTA Toowoomba club, we’re about service to the community, but we like to keep it fun for our members and interesting as well.
We support local community organisations through some fund raising and also through donations in kind. These donations in kind include teaching household management and cooking to young mothers recovering from substance abuse; time assisting the Guide Dogs; the making and distribution of small lavender cushions to breast cancer patients as well as collecting clothing and linen for a women’s refuge.
