In a world driven by change, new technologies and increasing complexities, QUOTA’s emphasis on human values, service and sharing provides an opportunity to create balance in our lives.
We are all busy people who find QUOTA provides the camaraderie and friendships which develop through sharing values and the satisfaction arising from helping others.
A number of excursions and support activities including:
- Warwick for their Jazz’n’Jumpers Festival;
- Opera at Jimbour;
- Melbourne Cup Day Luncheon;
- Daffodil Day sales stall;
- Toowoomba Lions’ Christmas Wonderland of Lights;
- St Luke’s Christmas Tree Festival;
- Speech Night prizes for 12 local high schools;
- Our Vials of Life project for emergency contacts;
- Lavender packs for breast cancer patients;
- Household goods for a local women’s refuge;
- Home management training for Fresh Hope clients;
- Support for the Hear and Say Centre.
While you may not want to become a member because of family, work or time constraints, we welcome any offers of assistance or time that you can make with any of our projects on an ad-hoc basis. We have a number of Friends of QUOTA who help us with particular community events throughout the year. Why not volunteer for one?
